Public bug reported: Binary package hint: filezilla
Hi All, I'm not even sure if this is a bug but I figure maybe someone else has experienced it. First off, running Ubuntu Hardy 8.04, Filezilla version 3.0.7.1, uploading 15 or so gigs to a private ftp I've been trying to upload several gigs worth of files to a private ftp. These are all pdf's ranging from 5 megs to 200 megs. I'm uploading from a DSL connection, so it's taking some time to get this much uploaded. I try to queue up 2 gigs over night and I wake up the next morning with most of the files in the "failed" section. I then try to requeue them and they ask if I want to over write, I say yes, at this point usually they try to overwrite and quickly end up in the failed again (and at this point it's rare that I can actually get them to overwrite the file and succeed). This happens to me time and time again (probably every night for the past week with different batches of files). I've successfully uploaded more than 2 gigs using ncftp as well as nautilus, the reason why I prefer filezilla is because I can throttle the speed as well as see my files side by side to compare what I have on my computer compared to what's on the ftp. ** Affects: filezilla (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- FileZilla Uploads Fail https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/263321 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
