Situation is still the same - you have to type randomly to know when the
keystrokes are recognized for the password, furthermore at the prompt
you now see something like "passphrase for /dev/disk/by-uuid/<uuid of my
diisk>

I highly doubt that any average user gains anything by reading the UUID
of his device...
