Hi Tim,
It worked on XP, though I haven't tried any version earlier than Hardy on
it.
Hardy had a similar problem, bug reported here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24/+bug/180544
