Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kopete
It's fairly standard behavior nowadays for an IM app to let you insert newlines into a message by pressing Shift+Enter. Kopete allows you to do this once at the beginning of a message, but won't let you insert additional lines, and won't let you after any text. To reproduce: 1. Launch kopete 2. Click on a buddy to open the conversation window 3. Press shift+enter. The cursor should go down a line. 4. Press shift+enter again. The cursor won't go down. (It should) 5. Type some text. Press shift+enter again. The cursor won't go down (it should) ** Affects: kopete (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Kopete doesn't only lets you insert newlines at the beginning of messages https://launchpad.net/bugs/69629 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
