Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase

1. Get a .ttf font (you can download a free zipped one here http://www
.ms-studio.com/FontSales/anonymous.html)

2. Right click the font in konqueror and choose Actions->Install Font.

3. KDE will prompt if you want to personally install the font or install
it system wide. Choose system wide.

4. You will be prompted for a username and password, with the username
field filled in as root. This is a holdover from KDE being run on
distros that don't use sudo -- it should just prompt for the user's
password.

** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
