Hello all,

Just saw the news that the appeal of open source software companies
against the decision of the Confederation to use MS-Products has been
rejected: http://www.news.admin.ch/message/?lang=fr&msg-id=34195

Strangly enough, the communique doesn't mention why the open source
companies are considered as not admitted for an appeal by the judges.
Also, the conclusion of the federal office that it "respects the legal
regulations" seams to be a bit strange, since the judged did not decide
on that but only decided whether the open source companies were admitted
to make an appeal or not.

Does anyone understand more of this? Or know a source that has more
details?

Regards

Simon
