Following "Ideas" on the main wiki page, "Swiss Linux Portal", there

Just a side note. It's not about translating the wiki or complete parts of
it into other languages. It's more about offering a entry point in German,
French and Italian.

Sorry, but did you actually look at it? It is about making a portal
(hosted under ubuntu.ch) with pointers to Ubuntu resources in
different languages, where one link would be to the SwissTeam wiki as
well.

No, It's about a paragraph on the wiki startpage, linking to the language specific intro sites. The rest should be kept as it is (in English).

That we use the wiki to discuss this and make drafts, does not mean
that we wanted to translate the SwissTeam wiki or anything. Or do I
misunderstand your misunderstanding? :) Please take a closer look at
what has been done, and the discussions we already had on the ML and
wiki.

On the main page, I would like to have some kind of 'Icons' (which Gregor
would like to prepar) pointing to these pages.

I am going to note down a few sentences in order to be translated for these
pages and would be glad if you could add your ideas.

That is exactly what people were working on in these "draft" pages...

Yes, Miriam already pinged me some links which are quite well and contain information that could be used to get started, thanks.
