The good news always comes from the users directly who never complain about slowness. When you start to hear complaints, that's when you have a problem. I've noticed Savage2 doesn't work as well any more. But I was cutting it thin with 1GB of RAM with that game but fortunately 8.04 was just slim enough to run it well.
