I do understand the concerns, and yes, they are all very known...but again...it's your choice to accept the way Ubuntu is doing or your don't...it's your choice. Our Desktop Team choose MONO and some apps as default installation candidates and that was their choice and we live with it...if you can't live with it...then don't use it. Linux is about choice...we choose.
