I forgot to add that I was using the current stable release of Ubuntu when the issue, if one would call it that, manifested itself. It really isn't a bug, and I would doubt that most users who lack enough knowledge to understand what creating an installation disk entails with Linux (formatting an entire drive) would use the program, but one who is used to the easy way in which Windows can be installed (create partition, copy files, mark as active) could easily toast their drive.
