When selecting 'Print to File' in the CUPS printer dialog box, Postscript is selected per default.
Many users may not realise that this is disadvantageous until too late - with all the fonts converted to paths and less easy to open on other operating systems. PDF seems a rational default - what reasons are against changing to this?
