If you think that's bad, my system won't even boot because I have a Radeon Mobility X1400 in my Dell Inspiron and I get a GPU lockup at startup due to a memory barrier issue. Boots every 3rd time to gdm, but when it does and I try to login it locks up again and I'm forced to reboot with an older kernel. I reported the bug to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/693754 Also reported it upstream: https://bugs.freedesktop.org//show_bug.cgi?id=32662 So far, no responses, and this one is by far more critical than an anti-aliasing issue... I can't even use my laptop and (ugh...) have had to boot into Vista :( Chris -- Ubuntu-devel-discuss mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-devel-discuss
