Exactly. I had gnupg2 with trusty, but when i installed wily from scratch 
something picked up again gnupg1. Everything was working until  a few days ago, 
when an apt update broke it.

Probably the update should nave forced gnupg2, or se should remove the old 
package and transition the reverse deps or play with some magic provides 
keyword. For sure breaking stuff in a stable release should be avoided as much 
as possibile.
