I'm not sure what the default is on this, and I'm no expert, however on my Ubuntu server system the MySQL socket is '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' not '/run/user/1000/akonadi/default/mysql.socket'. The UNIX socket on which MySQL communicates is specified in /etc/mysql/my.cnf. Check the socket location in any client configuration and make sure that it agrees with the socket location created by the server. -- Lindsay Haisley | "The only unchanging certainty FMP Computer Services | is the certainty of change" 512-259-1190 | http://www.fmp.com | - Ancient wisdom, all cultures -- Ubuntu-devel-discuss mailing list Ubuntu-devel-discuss@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-devel-discuss
