I think we have a misunderstanding here. If IPv6 is broken in Ubuntu, then we'd like to know about it, and I'm sure Ubuntu developers will jump on it to fix it. But that's not what your bug report says. You referred to rebuilding wget and a self-test failure that sounds spurious, except that it collides somehow with your internal policy. And I have been using IPv6 on Ubuntu daily, including with wget, and I've never seen an issue. Please could you elaborate and correct my misunderstanding? What's the actual problem here?
