Can you please file a bug via launchpad against the intel-microcode
package?
The easiest way to do this is to run the following command in a
terminal on a machine which is experiencing this issue:
ubuntu-bug intel-microcode
This will then collect various information about the hardware etc - then
we can follow up there.
For now, if this is preventing the machine from booting, please add the
dis_ucode_ldr boot parameter which should allow the machine to boot -
for information on how to do this please refer to

Hello
We have an issue with packages for ubuntu
http://ftp.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/i/intel-microcode/?C=M;O=A on
intel core i9. Currently is working package
intel-microcode 3.20191115.1ubuntu3

Please help due to many customers since 20.1 LTS will have black screen
and it means at least we can loose some part of customers which is not
"good in linux" (and not able to set grub option) and they are not able
to manipulate with different intel-microcode packages.
