Ops, you're correct. This is another bug, indeed. It looks similar to the one we're facing in Jammy, that's why I got confused. Sorry about the noise. > What is the MIR list? MRE means Micro Release Exception; it's an exception given by the SRU team to allow micro/minor release updates of packages that have already been released in previous Ubuntu series. This is a good thing to have when upstream provides minor releases that contain only bug fixes. Either way, please file a bug against bind9 and I/we will take a look into what's happening. If you can provide a step-by-step reproducer for the failure you're experiencing, that'd be great.
