Just to bring closure to this thread: consensus is to keep Python 2.6 for Natty and remove it early in Natty+1. Thanks for your input everyone. Remember, if you find bugs in packages related to the Python 2.7 transition, please file them on the appropriate package and add the official 'python27' tag. Cheers, -Barry
