Hi Ubuntu-eu team! The Spanish speaking community (Ubuntu-es) is having a hard time as our servers are not stable and have not been so for a while.
In behalf of our team (https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-es-locos<https://launchpad.net/%7Eubuntu-es-locos>) I would kindly ask you if it could be possible for us to host our Documentation and Community site in the Ubuntu Europe cluster. The Spanish Ubuntu community has developed a resource which is officially acknowledged as the Ubuntu documentation in Spanish: http://doc.ubuntu-es.org/ We have also a community site for all Spanish speaking users that acts as a Regional/Language based LoCo: http://www.ubuntu-es.org/ I have requested hosting @ Canonical but since we are not using their standard configuration (Drupal 5) I doubt we will get hosting that satisifes our needs there. Besides the fact that request for hosting there take ages (I know this from experience and it takes at least 2-3 months). Our team has kept Drupal 4 for the Community site and MediaWiki for our documentation since our effort started way before Canonical gave Ubuntu LoCo hosting and the technology behind the sites was not that relevant. Would it be possible for you to offer hosting for our team? I read in your site that you can give hosting to teams that need it, and we really do! We are willing to consider all possibilities as we need seriously a viable solution for the further development of our community and documentation.
