How about if we enhanced the "default applications" pane in system
settings, to handle installing common alternatives. For example the 'web' dropdown would show firefox and chromium (perhaps greyed out to indicate they are not installed) and clicking on them would install the required packages. On 25/10/12 06:35, Satyajit Sahoo
