Your answer is quite simple. Take a look at the one and only 'official'
documentation source for Ubuntu GNOME, that is our Wiki Area:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGNOME

You will notice we do use "Ubuntu GNOME".

However, there is a catch.
Don't look at the name or URL of the page which is:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/*UbuntuGNOME*

Obviously, with URL, there is no Spaces and same thing with the header
title of any Wiki Page. You will not see any spaces.

Maybe that is where the confusion has come from :)

Hope that helps :)

P.S.
I'd suggest to bookmark:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGNOME/OneStopPage

This is our golden source of information ;)
