If you have spare machine and/or if you can use a virtual machine, it would
be super helpful. If not (if you have only one machine), then that's okay,
we understand :)

Nowadays, even Alpha is solid and stable. Back 4 years when I joined
Lubuntu, even Beta 2 had many bugs but the milestones are different these
days.

As for your question, it is a matter of personal preferences, to be honest.
>From 4 years with QA and Testing, seeing the progress of more than one
project, I can tell that it's okay both way. IMHO, it is a matter of human
nature and how our brains see that. It's like you have two shirts, one is
old and one is new. Both are clean and in great condition. However, humans
tend to go with the newest even though the old in great condition. I might
be wrong, this is how I see it after 4 years with testing :)

The real differences between Beta 2 and Final Release is:

   1. Final Release should have 'less' bugs, at least no serious ones.
   2. Updated packages - Final Release should have the latest updates for
   its packages.

I'd suggest that everyone needs to have a look at:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WilyWerewolf/ReleaseSchedule

If you're using Beta 2 on daily basis, then you just need to update/upgrade
it once the final release is out.

If you would like to re-install, that's fine too.

In short, to me, I think it is a matter of personal preferences after all
whether to just update/upgrade or do fresh new installation.
