Το παρακάτω γράμμα είναι για την εκδήλωση ενδιαφέροντος για τη συμμετοχή στη δημιουργία Ubuntu ISO με τα γλωσσικά πακέτα μιας γλώσσας, στην περίπτωσή μας της ελληνικής γλώσσας. Εκτός από τα πακέτα γλωσσικής υποστήριξης, θα είναι εφικτό να γίνουν και άλλες σχετικές παραμετροποιήσεις σχετικά με τη γλώσσα (π.χ. περισσότερες ελληνικές γραμματοσειρές)
Είχαμε συζητήσει παλαιότερα για τη δυνατότητα να έχουμε ένα ελληνικό Ubuntu ISO. Τι χρειάζεται να κάνουμε τώρα; 1. Γραφόμαστε στο https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/desktop-o-cd-localization (το έκανα ήδη) για να παρακολουθήσουμε την πορεία του έργου. 2. Βάζουμε μια επαφή για το ελληνικό CD στη σελίδα https://wiki.ubuntu.com/OneiricOcelot/LocalizedImagesRollout Μέχρι στιγμής υπάρχουν 9 γλώσσες. Θα ήταν καλύτερο να προσφερθεί κάποιο μέλος για να είναι η επαφή για το ελληνικό ISO, και παρακολουθούμε όλοι μαζί τα βήματα δημιουργίας του ISO. At this point, I'd like to ask if any of you guys would be willing to sign up for creating and testing the first localized images for your language/LoCo. The tools are still being created, so for now we are not looking at creating them already, but rather for a list of contacts of people committed to creating and testing the first prototypes when the infrastructure is ready. So if you'd like to contribute to the ISO image for your language/LoCo, please add yourself to the table in the wiki page.
