Αυτό που λέει στην ουσία είναι ότι αν έχεις 32-bit μηχάνημα δεν μπορείς να βάλεις 64-bit λειτουργικό.
Επειδή η AMD ήταν η πρώτη που έβγαλε x86 αρχιτεκτονική 64-bit (πολλά χρόνια πριν), τότε η έκδοση amd64 έπαιζε μόνο σε 64-bit AMD (δηλαδή όχι σε Intel ή 32-bit AMD). Τώρα πια όλοι οι επεξεργαστές αρχιτεκτονικής x86 είναι 64-bit, άρα μπορείς να εγκαταστήσεις 64-bit λειτουργικό.
