Hello all,

We'll It has been almost two weeks since the creation of this group, and now
I'll like to start giving live to it. For all the new members, I would like
to explain a little more what this team is about.

This team is an iniciative of me (RoAkSoAx) and Ante Karmatic (ivoks).

This team will try handle everything related to high availability in Ubuntu,
which means, documentation (howto's), bug triaging, bug fixing, packaging,
and even the design of a cluster stack for Ubuntu. Now, as you can imagine,
we need to set our goals for karmic release and that's why I would like your
suggestions.

Our first goal is to work on documentation regarding on how to configure
clustering tools so that they can be included in the Ubuntu Server Guide. If
you wish to collaborate in this, please feel free to do so and edit the wiki
page [1]. Here you can add ideas regarding on what kind of documentation
should be included, ask for howto's on a clustering package, create your own
howto's for test and review, and so on. If some of you would like to handle
everything realted to documentation in this team, please let us know.

Another goal is to work with packaging and bug triaging / fixing related
stuff. You can find a list of packages that we'll handle here [2]. If you
think that we should include any other package, please let us know. Feel
free to start triaging bugs and making suggestiongs.

Now, our third goal is to provide a fully supported cluster stack for
Ubuntu. For this goal, we really need your help. All of you who have worked
or work with clustering tools such as RHCS or Linux-HA (Pacemaker aswell),
please send us some feedback! We need to bring under discussion this two
cluster stacks.

Could you provide any suggestions, advantages, disadvantages, feedback on
any of these cluster stacks? How many of you have them in production? I
would like to hear everything related to this. So please, feel free to start
a discussion... don't be shy!! Help us make Ubuntu HA better for karmic :).

Look forward to hear from you guys.
