This will be fixed in raring, because kernel 3.8 includes DRBD v8.4.2. It's still a problem for Precise LTS though. Lionel.

It also fixes a risk of data loss in some configurations. Furthermore, DRBD 8.3.13 will probably be the last 8.3.x revision, because 8.4 is out.
