if u dont have write enabled for ntfs, you wont be able to modify the registry file. http://www.easydesksoftware.com/regfiles.htm should tell u where the binary registry files are stored. dumphive( http://www.mirkes.de/en/delphi/samples/dumphive.php ) will dump the binary to a text file for you.
