I looked at those. The trouble is these dang keys don't seem to
generate a keycode. I even used xbindkeys-config but got no response
from either of those keys. One of them, however, when the machine is
in the off mode, when pressed launches some sort of recovery console.
I guess it needs some sort software driver and the CD that accompanied
it does have one for Vista. I have no idea if that can be used as the
basis to get it to work on Ubuntu.

Ah well, I'll let it be for now.
