I am not so sure of this, but the ubuntu distro name also comes in the deb
line !
It could be like file:///media/disk/ubuntu7_10/dvd710_!/ubuntu gutsy main
multiverse universe

This like can help ! Check if such a file like
file:///media/disk/ubuntu7_10/dvd710_1/ubuntu/dists/main/universe/binary-i386/Packages.gz
exists ! Try altering the deb line so that this file is actually being
pointed to !
