it can help.You can even point to a directory as repository. You just need to add something like following to your /etc/apt/sources.list deb file:///path/to/location gutsy main -- ubuntu-in mailing list ubuntu-in@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-in
