My friend asked me to give him a Ubuntu iso image on his pen drive (a ubuntu sticker on one of my books gave him the idea) and asked me to include some apps that he might find useful. Now I have dowloaded all of the apps and their dependicies using apt-get and copied the files from /var/cache/apt/archives
Now what I want to do is create something like a package that installs the app on the system as well as its dependicies. I should be able to build it here (on my system) and make sure that it will work on his new system and not say that certain dependicies are missing.
