Hi again!

>> ? 5. Enter your ?Password? and check the ?Remember Password? box.
I
forgot to add this in the previous mail. _Do not store the password
in Pidgin_, especially if you are in a multi-user environment. Pidgin
stores the passwords in a plain text format in the ~/.purple folder,
and can be easily viewed by anyone, as the default file permissions of
Ubuntu are 755, which means that any user on your system will be able
to read your password.

Same word of caution for Psi. It does encrypt the password while
storing it in a file, but the encryption is pretty weak, and it
substitutes a 3 character code for every character in the password.
So please beware of storing any and all passwords in your system,
unless you use a keyring application.
