When you create new account in "Basic Tab" choose Protocol : XMPP Username : your_username Domain: gmail.com You can leave Resource and Password fields blank Now in Advanced Tab XMPP Options check "Require SSL/TLS" uncheck "Force old (port 5223) SSL" check "Allow plain text auth" Connect Port: 5222 Connect Server: talk.google.com You can leave other fields blank.
