did not know this fglrx problem till i installed it :-) Have been having niggling problems with graphics - Compiz did work , even befor fglrx now it does not Cairo Dock worked for a few days and they it just shut up and only shows white stars instead of any nice icons Google earth : it worked earlier now it crashes While booting up i getting a modern art screen for a couple of seconds Sometimes there are static lines that run up the screen - right side So was thinking maybe if i had a better driver things would get ok - hence the fglrx route am running 2.6.28-13-generic, Ubuntu 9.04 on a t 60 lenovo laptop. and graphics has never been great. ram -- ubuntu-in mailing list ubuntu-in@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-in
