It is happening because, when sending invitations in social networking sites, it will get mailed to all id's in the contact list. So, guys, please uncheck this address "ubuntu-in@lists.ubuntu.com" while sending bulk invitations. Another possible way to stop this is signing up for a new mail id for mailing lists only.
