Vikash, I see even on LUGM lists that you are trying to give your best. There can be many ways to start contributing. If you have used Ubuntu a lot, then you can try to work on GNOME itself. Have a look at GNOME Love http://live.gnome.org/GnomeLove which is an initiative to get people started with GNOME.
