Car PCs are nothing new they've been around for a long long time, but they were mainly limited to tinkers/enthusiasts. it's just going mainstream now. And neither is it country specific, http://www.iride.in/ has been selling kits in India for many years now. As the cost of a "PC" drops(You can get a 7" android tablet for under $100 already!), they'll probably become standard in most cars. Why carry CDs/USB sticks to your car when you can sync your entire collection over wifi while your car is parked at your home? Or eliminate the need for a drive-in cinema by watching your favorite movies projected onto your windscreen!
