There is a section on fixing the problem of booting to blank screen by issuing
the "sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg" command. It is often suggested to run
this to 'fix' the xorg.conf, but in fact for some time now this command doesn't
touch xorg.conf. So it's completely pointless running it.
