There is a transparent option although I have not tried it outside in all weathers like the 'paper' type. The paper type is amazingly long lasting, approximately a year on each on a couple of rear bumper/fenders in all weathers. When they do come off they leave a hard deposit behind so be prepared to stick another one on in its place (!) A small price to pay for advertsing Ubuntu to the driver in the queue behind me though.
The transparent ones ('mixed ubuntu stickers one sheet') are more like self adhesive transfers http://shop.canonical.com/product_info.php?products_id=125 Linuxmalta.co.cc wrote: > I am just wondering if there might be one with a transparent back ground > like I own a red metallic bike, silver laptop and so on and the ubuntu logo > and words with transparent )plastic background would work for me instead of > white paper like that comes off after 2 months > > > That would be great > > -----Original Message----- > From: ubuntu-marketing-boun...@lists.ubuntu.com > [mailto:ubuntu-marketing-boun...@lists.ubuntu.com] On Behalf Of alan c > Sent: Friday, February 12, 2010 7:02 PM > To: Ubuntu Marketing > Subject: [ubuntu-marketing] Please use Ubuntu Stickers > > I find that Ubuntu stickers - the white, paper looking type, are quite > good on rear bumper/fender of my car, and on my bicycle also. > > May I encourage all to use an Ubuntu sticker on each rear car > bump/fender or vehicle you have? > > It is an easy way to increase Ubuntu visibility at large, a key aspect > of Marketing. > > Thank you -- alan cocks Ubuntu user -- ubuntu-marketing mailing list ubuntu-marketing@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-marketing
