I think if Canonical can engadge with the LoCo teams and other community people, we could legally take their announcements and publish them to local media and other contacts we might have. At the moment, I don't know if it's possible to re-submit Canonical's official announcements and I'm not sure if Canonical would be pleased or helpful with community involvement. Otherwise, the community does make announcements, it just doesn't submit them to news media.
