Hi Martin,

I think you have an older version of image-creator. Please go to
http://moblin.org/documentation_howto/howto_create-image.php on
www.moblin.org <http://www.moblin.org/> for latest documentation.

Also you can get the latest version of moblin-image-creator (MIC) form
moblin website.

You can do all tasks through GUI or command line - it does not matter. There
isn't an ideal platform but it has been tested well on Ubuntu Gutsy and
Hardy.

Thanks,

Praj

I'm sorry - I misunderstood.

I was using the image-creator GUI, following the steps in the html guide.
There are only two options - Mccaslin and Menlo. I didn't realize that I
had more options. Should I need to the command-line installer so that I can
select one of the architectures that you listed? I really just want it to
run on a PC so that I can demo and learn it, so if there is an ideal
platform for that, please let me know what it is and I will try it.

I am working my way through the documentation here:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UMEGuide

Is there a better place for me to look for instructions about getting
started?

thanks
martin

Hi Martin,

Could you please specify which platform you were using?

There are multiple platforms based on Mccaslin (mccalin-lpia,
mccaslin-lpia-ubunty-hardy etc).

Thanks,

Praj

What platform did you select when creating the new project?
