Hello everybody, We're going to switch [1] to Malone [2] as our only bugtracker soon. Although the bug information will be preserved and Bugzilla's data fed into Malone, we shall have a Bug Day to give us a head start and make sure we're in good shape for the switch. If you want to help us clean the dust a bit, Wednesday, 11th of January is your day!
[1] https://wiki.launchpad.canonical.com/BugzillaImportProcess [2] http://launchpad.net/malone Bug triage is boring, right? You always wanted to be part of an Ubuntu team, but didn't find the right one? You think looking at bugs is complicated, mind-boggling and doesn't make a change? You think it's annoying and tedious? Bug Triage in Ubuntu is different. It's fun! Why? Because along with the boring categories * open bugs that have no input since 6 months [3] * UPSTREAM bugs [4] * UNCONFIRMED bugs [5] * NEEDINFO bugs [6] [3] http://tinyurl.com/9jnt3 [4] http://tinyurl.com/9yg2n [5] http://tinyurl.com/ac8d8 [6] http://tinyurl.com/a4vmg everybody else has, we have much more exciting ones as well: * From the Upstream developers talking [7] category * the Confidential information or something [8] category * the WTF?! [9] category * the early days [10] category * the Mr. Teacher, will we all fail this year? [11] category [7] http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=4116 [8] http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=15284 [9] http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=10078 [10] http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=7086 [11] http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=16128 If this makes bug triage more exciting to you, but you don't know what you should do on Wednesday, 11th of January, look at this. [12] We'll be at #ubuntu-bugs on irc.freenode.net all night and day and rock the show together with YOU. [12] http://wiki.ubuntu.com/HelpingWithBugs Have a nice day, The Bug team
