We get our otrs package from Debian. Debian have 2.3.4.
We don't generally backport new versions to old releases so it may end
up in the next version (Karmic) if Debian package the new version and
we sync it across.
Karmic currently has 2.3.4 and jaunty 2.3.2.
How long has the new version been out? Is it a significant improvement
or does it fix a lot of bugs?

I'm really looking forward to using otrs version 2.4 which is now
available from otrs. I installed it on ubuntu via apt-get and would
prefer to update that way instead of downloading and upgrading
manually from the downloads on otrs website. Is there an ETA on
when the 2.4 version of that package will be available from ubuntu's
universe repos?
Apologies in advance if this is the wrong place to ask this question..
Thanks,
Ben
