Actually, I followed the ubuntu documentation for packaging new software
which is found here in PDF:
https://packaging.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-packaging-guide.pdf
It is the same as the documentation in HTML:
https://packaging.ubuntu.com/html/packaging-new-software.html

In the documentation, bzr is used.
Would you please let me know if there is any updated documentation for
packaging fonts?

We are trying with the help of the Information Technology Organization of
Iran and the Open Source Community of Iran to maintain repositories of open
source fonts here:
