What will the Launchpad Way be? I understand that initially this will only be exposed using the API — so the interface for sponsorees won't change*. For sponsoring a sync, ubuntu-dev-tools will have to modify sponsor-patch to tickle the API methods instead of subscribing ubuntu-archive.
