cann't wake up from hibernate 11.10

Bug description:
I updated to ubuntu 11.10 from 11.04 yesterday using update manager,
When i put lid down or hibrenate and then switch the laptop on again, i get a
black screen and am not asked to write the password to login in again, like it
use to do before.
