It seems at least for LTE based CDMA several packages are needed netd, iptables, etc but I still get ip-config-unavailble
Mar 3 03:17:23 localhost NetworkManager[228]: <info> Marking connection 'Wired connection 1' invalid. Mar 3 03:17:23 localhost NetworkManager[228]: <warn> Activation (qmi0) failed for connection 'Wired connection 1' Mar 3 03:17:23 localhost NetworkManager[228]: <info> Activation (qmi0) Stage 4 of 5 (IPv4 Configure Timeout) complete. Mar 3 03:17:23 localhost NetworkManager[228]: <info> Activation (qmi1) Stage 4 of 5 (IPv4 Configure Timeout) started... Mar 3 03:17:23 localhost NetworkManager[228]: <info> (qmi1): device state change: ip-config -> failed (reason 'ip-config-unavailable') [70 120 5] I know CDMA is not supported yet but it seems some things will also be needed on the Ubuntu side as well. Just contributing what I learned so far.
