I added the -v and now it works. /(adb shell system-image-cli -v
--channel trusty -b 0)/
The phone did reboote and now I'm on 14.04 (r10).

Did you check your version number? Did your phone reboot in the middle?
Pass -v to system-image-cli (or even -vv) for verbose output.
