I updated via ota without any problems up to #291.
I also tried to reinstall freshly but it will not boot.
I try to ask the developer.

works fine here on a native install, either by over the air upgrade or
by freshly flashing ...
could it be that multirom does not upgrade the boot.img when there are
system upgrades ?
