you are right, none of them are in ubuntu right now. I've already seen
an kmplayer package on REVU. (http://revu.tauware.de). I'd suggest
submitting your packages there and get then directly into ubuntu. None
of those packages seem to be problematic for redistribution to me.

why does dvdrip need rar-2.8? Ubuntu/multiverse has rar_3.30, whats
the problem with that?
